URGENT PROBLEM: The Frontpage layout keeps resetting at the categories so in effect one category is replicated across the frontpage. PLEASE URGENTLY FIX THIS. Sirs

Now that is unusual, so the blocks and other elements filtering and sorting are resetting. And that is happening only on the homepage. I would suggest to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all the caching installed.
If you made modifications to the theme files remove them temporarily. If you use a child theme and made modification to theme files, deactivate it temporarily.
If there is still a problem, provide more details about what exactly are you doing and what is happening. Provide a link to your website as well.

Hello, I have the same problem. I have the newsticker, and the big grid. Underneath there is a block 1. When I want to separate layout for block 1 it affects the whole page and the big grid and the newsticker disappear.
I see that the problem is that when I click on “raw”, every page element gets selected. If I click anywhere else I can modify normally each element.
I am using the latest theme and have cleared my cache but still no result.
two reasons likely:
1. Your theme might not be activated ( purchase code) so it is still a free theme until you put the purchase code.
2. You might be using a CDN like Cloudflare. You need to clear your cache with them.

@Nemanja1980 Then do not enter all the elements in the same row when creating the page. All will be selected when you place them all in one single row and select it. You can add rows as you build the page for better control
