I have an urgent problem – I need to make this page available to my client in two days and I can’t get the vimeo video playlist to work. I have loaded the video numbers with commas and spaces but nothing shows up.
I have upgraded to the latest theme version and deactivated all non-essential plugins. Could you please have a look and tell me what needs to be done to fix it? Or a work-around? I am at my wits end.

From what I can see there are no videos loaded. Try with the default video IDs

Maybe the videos you are trying to use have restrictions in place, or are private. The playlist will not show them if they are private.

The default video IDs work so now we know that the problem is in the vimeo settings.
When you say they cannot be private, do you mean they have to be freely available on vimeo.com? We want to have them set to be allowed on our site but hidden from vimeo.com as they are a saleable product. (Though even when we change it to viewable by anyone, they still don’t show up yet…).
Any ideas on how we can use the playlist while keeping the videos to this site only?

Unless completely public, they will probably not appear in the playlist provided in the composer unfortunately. Public videos with no restrictions should work just fine.
Maybe you could consider using a Vimeo playlist plugin that works with private or limited videos, there could be some.
