I’ve committed a serious mistake here.
I was adding a code in my functions.php, for the first few times I added the code correctly. But don’t what happened last time that now I’ve lost access to my site http://www.clearawayacne.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=functions.php&theme=Newspaper&scrollto=16621&updated=true
Please help me with all this. I’m VERY depressed!
The hell is that I don’t have cPanel in my hosting.
I’ve contacted my hosts. Don’t know when they’ll respond.
Is there any measure I can take in the meantime? Is it dangerous?
I’ll advice you next time to use the “Code Snippets” plugin to add any thing to the functions.php it’s safer because if something go wrong you can go and delete it from ur admin panel easy…it’s good to do backups before editing any thing because when something go wrong you can go back to the old way…
Get it from here http://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/
Hi,
Thanks Steven/Christopher!
@SheikhOvais Sorry for the delay, have you managed to fix this? I have checked your site and looks fine now.
Please let me know!
Thanks
Everything’s fine now Lucian. I first disabled the old file, and then uploaded the new one.
