WEebmaster tools has picked up the following soft 404 error – Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/hosname/site.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/index.php on line 6
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
Please read this guide for possible fixes and causes, for the 404 error – https://wpengine.com/support/best-practices-handling-404-errors/ as this is a common wordpress error.
