Hi, first of all, please improve the search function on this forum. It doesn’t matter what I search for, I almost always get every single response as a hit anyway…
I’m suddenly not able to update the link text color in the standard text block in VC. Is it because I’m still using VC?

The search seem to work properly on the forum. Here is a simple test searching for ‘github’
https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/github/
All the posts shown as a result contain the word ‘github’ and there is no post that does not have this word in it’s content but returned as a search result. I say it works properly.
The link text color is grabbed from the theme accent color of the theme. It cannot be changed from the text block settings.

Hi Bogdan, thanks for your reply. I understand how the search function works, however it’s not very precise. The issue is not with a one-word search, but when I try to find posts about the color of link text, it’s really difficult. Searching for “url color”, “link text color” etc. brings up way too many results.
Anyhow, something must have changed since the update, because this was not an issue before. Earlier I was able to change the color of link texts within the building blocks, in this case the text block. Now I’m not. I haven’t changed any of the theme colors.
Also, wouldn’t changing the accent color change lots of other elements as well, not only link text color?

Yes indeed there was a major change to the theme implementation of the theme elements in the page builder as we have converted them to make them compatible with both our own page builder and VC. I will add this to our list for future updates and we will fix the link color issue in future versions of the theme.
