Hello, I would like to change the permalink of single posts based on it’s category. My permalink settings is set to /%postname%/ only. So I have these categories: Videos News Articles. I’d like to have these permalink structure without changing the permalink setting which is set to postname. Where can I modify this on the newsmag template?
domain.com/news/postname
domain.com/videos/postname
domain.com/articles/postname
Permalinks are handled by WordPress, and nothing to do with the theme.
You can use custom rewrite rules or use a plugin. Theme cannot control the permalink structure.
