Use RSS feed for Mailchimp – only full content is shown

Hi,
I want to use Mailchimp for automatically sending newsletters to my subscribers. In Mailchimp you should be able to automatically fill the newsletter using RSS feeds.

I want to show an excerpt of the posts in the newsletters. For the excerpt the description tag is used. However, the full article is shown instead of the description. I am using the *|RSSITEM:CONTENT|* item in Mailchimp.

Is there something wrong with the template?

Check https://mailchimp.com/help/rss-merge-tags/ for all the merge tags in Mailchimp.
