User (Author-Link) not working

Hi, please see this link , when you hover the author name there is : http://winterberg-tips.nl/author/infowinterberg-tips-nl/
When clicking this the homepage is loaded but now userprofile is shown….
Any fix for this?

Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Let us know if the author link still does not link to the author name

Hi, found the error, it was a cache problem in Chrome, in Edge and other Browser it is working, thanks! 🙂

To early, when activation YOAST SEO this problem occures… When de-activate YOAST it works again.. Any fix for this?

Hi,

Please check this setting in the Yoast SEO plugin, and enable author archives

Disabling it, the author archive will be the homepage.
