Using same cloud template for different categories'

Hi there,

We want to use the same cloud template for different category pages on our site, but when we make any changes (such as filtering by category), it changes the template through the whole site.

Is the only way to use the SAME template on different category pages to make a COPY of the template for each new category?

Hi,

Each category can have it’s own template. You can set one in the theme panel->per category settings – http://prntscr.com/o3tjuz

This way the templates can be different if needed. If you want to use the same base template but with various modifications to it, you can duplicate it as many times as you want – http://prntscr.com/o3tlpl

On the other hand, if the categories are set to inherit from global settings
– http://prntscr.com/o3tmmc
Then they will all use the template set in the general category setting.
