Hi there, most advanced plugins use shortcodes and/or PHP inserts to function. I’ve noticed that TD composer doesn’t allow us to add shortcodes or PHP code anywhere: there’s no element you can add for this.
I even tried adding an “Enable shortcodes & PHP in text” plugin, so I could then hopefully add shortcodes or PHP code in TD composer by adding a Text element, then inserting the code and enjoying the results. This also doesn’t work.
As a result, TD Composer is limiting the amount of money we can earn through advanced ads & e-mail capture plugins.
It would be really helpful if you guys could look at allowing the usage of shortcodes as an element within TD Composer.
Hi,
Shortcodes can be entered in text elements, like column text or text with title. There were some issues before with this functionality but in the latest theme version they are fixed. So there should be no problem in the matter if you use the latest theme version.
For PHP inside the page you could first add this capability to the WordPress text widget

Widgets can be displayed in pages with the widget sidebar element. There might be other ways besides this method.
Thanks
Hi,
What shortcodes are you using? Up to this point we haven’t identified any shortcodes that do not work with the method described above.
You can also provide us with admin login by email at contact@tagdiv.com and mention how we can conduct some tests with those shortcodes. Please include a link to this topic if you send us an email.
Simion,
Shortcodes in column text. If I do the same thing on a page, it seems to add <p></p>
Code is exactly the same, if I inspect elements in browser. A <p></p> gets added when not a page.

@kytmagic From what I can see that website is using theme version 9.1, there was a problem with using shortcodes in the composer previously, it was fixed in 9.2

At the time we provided a quick fix which worked and was eventually added in the theme in 9.2
