When I try adding a text element to my page with tagDiv Composer, I first create a row and then add a “Column text” element into that row, which works fine.
But when I then want to change the actual text inside of that text element, I click “Edit content” button, and a popup appears which loads infinitely.
Effectively, I cannot use the text editor :/

Notes:
– I tried both in Chrome and Firefox – same issue.
– The error in Dev Tools console says “ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”
– I am using Newsmag 4.9 with both tagDiv Composer and WPBakery Page Builder plugins active (updated them all to the latest version that comes bundled with the theme update via Envato market)
– I am testing on a localhost on Windows
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the reply!
Is that the latest update to the theme or the tagdiv composer plugin? When I redownloaded the plugin, deactivated and removed the old plugin, reuploaded and then activated the newly downloaded plugin, it still prompted me to update. When I clicked update, it said it was successfully updated but then it still gave me the update prompt.
Any clue what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks!
Hi,
Before each update, you need to remove all of the old plugins and install them from the Theme panel -> Plugins section. Please note that our theme has a system which does not allow you to rule the theme with an old version to your plugins and that’s why you receive that information.
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
