V 10.4: How to fix missing width and height attribute on header logo

Hello,
the header logo in Newspaper < 10.4 had no width and height attribute, which was reported by Google’s Pagespeed tool. The changelog of Newspaper version 10.4 says “fix: Width and height attribute on header logo;”.

But still my logo has no width and height attribute. How can I fix this?

I guess it’s best to always have tailored logos with the exact correct sizes. This release has so many problems it’s not worth even trying.

Then you have all the square ones..

The logo stretched is only stretched on Mozilla, not on Microsoft Edge. Maybe It’s not my logo size the problem?! Before the update I didn’t have any issue. What happened?

this error is not about wrong logo sizes, it’s about missing width and height attribute. Size does not matter.

And the solution could be… ?

We’ve had the problem of the stretched logo after the update in http://www.mundoplus.tv

We were able to track the problem down to line 436 of wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css that says:
width: auto\9;
instead of
width: auto;

After fixing that we had to delete the cached CSS file in our server and our CDN.

this is an error, but it does not fix the problem. Tagdiv has to fix this. The logo must have a with and height in pixels, not as “auto”.
