Hi, can I also have a copy of a stable version of 7.2? Since recently stitching to this theme from a MyThemeshop theme, I’ve noticed vastly improved Adsense CTR and CPC (could be in part because of the season), but decreasing search traffic. I’ll love to test against the older version.

I plan to go live on a very high traffic site using another theme and I’m now scared that switching will make us lose traffic which we don’t want
Can you please send the version 7.2 as well
Also why can’t this be taken more seriously instead of dismissing it as it seems the querries are increasing and can be a killer to sites who are traffic sensitive… not many sites using the theme are

This is a concern for me, I have a relatively high traffic site, 8 to 9 million page views per month.
I’m currently on 7.2 and haven’t updated, my concern is if I do update, my traffic can vary 20% to 30% per day anyway depending on popularity of content. So it would be very difficult to tell if I was effected
Do the people effected drive the majority of their traffic through Google? 90% of my traffic is from Facebook.
For people who run an advertising based business, this is serious, no one wants to see a 20% dip in revenues.

I can only tell you that we have tested the latest theme version and did no found any issues. Dropping traffic may be caused also by the server configuration, but I cannot say for sure why the above users reported this. They did not specified the cause(an error) and they only asked for 7.2 version. If it is an error on the site it should appear on errorlog file.
I can only suggest to update the theme and monitor your traffic for few days and if it drops please check the errorlog and see if you can find an error that may cause this.

As 90 percent of your traffic is from Facebook, this would have no effect on your traffic. The problem is really for those who receive a significant amount of traffic from Google search.
Even then, there can be many reasons for a drop in search traffic. Sometimes it’s just seasonal. Also, when you change a theme, your search traffic may drop for a week or two, as Google indexes the changes to the website.
