Hi!
The accordion, tabs and tour elements are marked as depreciated since version 4.6. In the official changelog of VC mentions new accordion, tabs and tour elements für version 4.6. But these doesn’t seem to be activated in Newspaper.
My question: Can I safely use the depreciated accordion element and can rest assured that upon you switching to the new elements everything continues to work fine?
Or is there another possibility to use the new elements?

Hello Rolf,
Unfortunately, there is no migration option and old elements will not work when Visual Composer removes them. The deprecated ones will still be present for a while, but VC team are not sure when they will remove them.
The best thing you can do is start using the new element and replacing the old ones.
In our latest theme updated (6.5.1) we included the new version of visual composer that contains the new elements as well. They have the same name as the old ones, but if you look at the shortcodes, they are different: http://screencast.com/t/wptRa0Wq

I have updated both the theme and the plugin.
Any further suggestions?
