Hi,

Tried to update to the latest version of the theme but needed to immediatly install a previous version as it caused the top menu to duplicate.

There might have been other issues as well but duplicated navigation menu that looked completely messed up where very obvious.

See screenshot here:http://www.screencast.com/t/aBwMlosrZ

The curent page with previous version of newspaper here: https://salesagents.uk.

Will there be further updates to the theme that fixes these bugs?

Best wishes
Lars

Hello Larshell,

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which could create this type of issue in the theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches (server cache), purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that our theme is a complex one which has a lot of code lines. I suspect your problem that comes from these updated plugins which interfere with the code source of the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues through the theme. As you can see, our theme has the own tested plugin, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/VuUrLqFI1 with the theme working as properly.
Please try my advice and check the theme to the default state (only with bundled plugins) and see how it goes.

Thanks for your understanding!

Sure. The plugins we use are essential.

And your list of “approved plugins” is very limited to say the least.

It’s i.e. impossibility for us to use contact form 7 instead of gravity forms.

Have you considered extending the number of plugins you teste the theme with?

Best wishes
Lars

Hello Larshell,

Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure when in the future we will extend the number of our tested plugin because this is only just the decision of our developers.

Thanks for your suggestion and for your understanding!

Lars, I had the same problem and I found a solution. Just go to Theme panel and change Header Style to something else, click Save Settings and then change it back to what it was and Save Settings. Try it!

Jukka

If somebody has a problem with theme plugins (social counter, visual composer) after update. Just remove and re-install the plugins. Been there, done that.
