I was wondering if there is any possibility to make a post with a featured video actually show the video instead of the generated featured image? Like it does when using Style 10 and 11. I´m using a cloud template at the moment and with the options available in tagdiv composer this doesn´t seem possible :-/

Hi! That I have done. The question was more if there is a possibility to create a custom template that uses the Video post format. Right now (in tagdiv composer) there is only featured image, no featured video.

Sorry for missunderstanding your issue !
Yes, if you add Single post featured image it will work no mather the name of the element. So if you have let’s say a blank template. Add Single Post Featured Image and set the post to video it will work.

Ah, but that was it 🙂 For some reason the Single Post BG Featured Image was being used. Just replaced them and now it works.
While I´m on the question though, do you know if there is a way to make videos appear in higher quality when being used as a featured video? Right now it loads (as a still) with the lowest possible resolutions, however when I press play on the video it instantly changes to the actual video size/quality of 1080 px.
