I can’t find a link on the theme demo that uses videoicons on the small images. Same size as where I have the issue, thanks.
I can only find videoicons on medium and big images on the theme demo. There is no videoicons on the small images on the theme demo I can find.

That code is for images in the post content, the thumbnails will not be affected by it in any way.
Do you maybe use other CSS codes? I cannot seem to view this issue on your website. Where can I check it exactly, what page?
Create a test page and place the blocks with the issue, provide that so I can check with a 4k monitor.
It would be somewhat impossible for the video icon to be displayed outside of it’s container over the thumbnail, it is centered at all times

So despite the image being smaller or larger, the icon remains centered.
