I created a post and selected Video format along with a featured image. After I finished my post, I decided I didn’t like the featured image so I removed it. Now the post does not have an image at all on the home page.
How can I get Newsmag to re-generate a video image once the post has been published and then edited?

You should simply add another featured image or video from here -> http://screencast.com/t/RIX0BxImQWkx Isn’t exist any system to re-generate the video image.

Yes, if I add another video, the video image does not get generated. It appears the video image only gets generated in the beginning, on post creation, not when you edit or update the post later.
Does that make sense?

Please try to remove the video url from the featured video box and switch the post to standard. Then hit save. After that, swithc th epost to video type again and place the vide url in the featured video box
