Video shortcode not working after changing to Newspaper

Hi all,

A tech newbie here, but fell in love with the Newspaper theme and decided to get it.

I have an issue here with entering my Youtube videos in articles.

Previously, it was entered as [video id="xxxxx" site="youtube"][/video]

All videos are now not showing up in the articles.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Please provide a useful screenshot and show me how exactly you have added your youtube video through your post content.

So here are 3 different screenshots of the issue:

I am just looking forward to get this one issue fixed before the new theme goes from staging to live.

Hi there, I understand the new way of adding videos in this theme.

What I mean is, is there any way I can convert those previously embedded videos to show up? Or do I have to do in article by article and insert the video link again?

Hope you understand as well.

Hello Robert,

Sorry but please notice that does not exist any way to convert that previously embedded video, sorry! You should re-add manually each of them.
