Any videos embed with Post 11 types are not showing in video sitemap, how can i make it work, also smartlist multiple pages are not included in sitemaps too how can i fix this?

I have created a new sitemap with the recomended seo plugin (seo yoast) and a new post I created using style 11 (video post) shows up properly: http://screencast.com/t/RwoVtFAOYyBt
The smartlist pages will not show up in any sitemap as a smartlist represents a single post, not multiple posts.
I;m not sure what tool you use for creating your sitemap but please use seo yoast as it is tested to work properly with our theme

I use Yoast SEO video plugin. The problem is that if I use the featured video option, the plugin doesnt recognize the video, I have to embed it to the post to work.

We only tested the standard version of seo yoast. We have not tested video seo so I cannot say for sure how it will work or not. The featured video is a custom made element and plugins cannot recognize the code for them as plugins are built on the standard wordpress code. Please use the standard seo yoast plugin as that is the tested and recommended one to use.

The Yoast Video Plugin is a premium addon to create video sitemaps with the Yoast plugin, but If I use a featured video in the theme, the plugin tells me there isnt any video in the post.
Its kind of useles to have featured videos and the video theme if the dont work for a sitemap. 🙁

As I have replied above, we have not tested this add-on so we are not certain of it’s functionality. Our featured videos have a made implementation so probably the add-on cannot recognize them as a standard video. We are not aware of this add-on or it’s functionality so unfortunately I have no solution to provide as plugin implementation is not covered by the theme support.

So with Yoast-Video you can add in custom field names. I think the way to get this to work is adding the name of the custom field of the video into Yoast-Video.
Well, after testing with the plugin and the theme, you can indeed use the custom video post type and Yoast SEO Video plugin.
All you need to do is set “td_post_video” in the custom field option of the Video SEO settings page. Hope this can help others using Yoast SEO. 🙂

SO i tried this solution… with out any luck
Now I’m adding these name into Custom Fields Under General Settings inside the Video SEO
I looked with inspector

I see where you got that name in the html and it “td_post_video[td_video]”. Then I tryed the fallowing list one at a time.

This was without any prevail and yes i was hitting save and reload after all changes… is there something dumb i’m missing i’m missing
Now This is even more interesting when i take the video OUT of my Featured Video tag the SEO Pops up with td_post_video,…. im talking to Yoast as well…
You only need to put td_post_video, in the custom settings. Maybe you have to flush the cache of your site or something like that. 🙂
Take in mind that this solution is just for the Yoast Video SEO plugin to recognize the video when you use featured video instead of featured image, nothing else.
here is what fixed my issues from yoast
NewsPaper v7.3. We then investigated the issue and discovered that in order to make the Video SEO recognize the Vimeo video on a post, required exactly two saves. To make the Video SEO not recognize the Vimeo video, required exactly three saves.
We then went to SEO->Video SEO and did a Force Reindex. This resulted in all your videos appearing on your sitemap: http://trophypursuit.wpengine.com/video-sitemap.xml.
We are not sure if NewsPaper 7 is affecting the Video SEO plugin’s ability to find the Featured Video field and scan it. We are not sure if they are conflicting. We do know that for the plugin to pick-up videos, that it sometimes requires a force reindex. We do know that you should not expect to always do this to make the Video SEO pick-up the featured video field.
To resolve the issue we suggest the following
Add a new video on a new post and see if the Video SEO plugin automatically picks it up.
If it does not, do a force reindex and see if it picks it up.
If it does, then let us know that the plugin is requiring a Force reindex each time to pick-up the video. We may need to investigate further and create an issue report for our developers. If it doesn’t let us know too.
Yoast SEO dont recognize the custom field the theme uses for featured video. You have to add the custom field in the plugin config.
Also, the featured video doesnt display on AMP pages.
