I have tried to load a video from the Media Library into the sidebar via the video widget, but it does not recognize the URL from the Media Library. It words perfectly with a URL linked to a Youtube video. But I don’t want to use a Youtube video. Is there a solution? If not TAGDIV needs to fix this problem.

The video element can only use youtube or vimeo videos. To add a video to your sidebar you can use this widget: https://www.screencast.com/t/lQZlceGpqc
