Hello,

when I put a video from a different site, not YouTube, it is not responsive and it does not fill properly in the free space on different devices, on phone for example. Is there a way to fix it or this can be done only by the video website owners?

Hi,

This is why I asked you how you implemented the video: http://screencast.com/t/tyuCv4j115 You have it inside an iframe with a fixed width .If the width is fixed, there is no responsiveness. You need to give it a width of 100 % or 80 %, just not a fixed one.

Hi,

it’s the same on YouTube videos but they get responsive without setting the width in percents.

Why is that?

Hi,
Youtube iframes are not getting a fixed width. You can implement youtube videos directly without iframes by simply pasting the youtube link inside the post and wordpress does the rest: http://screencast.com/t/zklVZPRRrK5c
As you can see the youtube iframe already has a 100% width not a fixed with in pixels.
