Videos don't resize using iframe

Hi,

My problem is that when using iframe to insert a video in a page, no matter what size I give in the iframe, the video occupies the entire width of the column in which it is placed. Is there a way to have the video in the exact dimensions that I set in iframe?

Thank you,

Nick

Hello Nick,

Notice that the video will be automatically resized if you will use an iframe or video playlist. Please check our demos and there you will see the results. An example can be seen here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video/ Also, if you want, you can edit your iframe and add through it what kind of video size you want.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello again,

I’m sorry but no matter what size I enter in the iframe, the video shows full column width. It doesn’t matter if I enter <iframe src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/%5Bvideo ID]” width=”750″ height=”422″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”> or <iframe src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/%5Bvideo ID]” width=”200″ height=”113″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”> or even <iframe src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/%5Bvideo ID]” width=”50%” height=”50%” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=”allowfullscreen”> the video always shows full column width. It doesn’t show in the dimensions I want. Maybe I made myself more clear now?

Hello nick1968,

Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and some useful screenshots with the video you’re referring to so I can make some tests.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello taknev420,

Please notice that’s the default theme’s behavior to display the video width to 100%. If you want to disable this behavior you should edit the js of the theme.

Thanks for your understanding!
