Hello, i have issue with the view count feature on the theme. Initially, i was having over a thousand views per stories but all of sudden the views started decreasing i hardly get up to 500 views for some top viral stories. What could be the issue

Google is re-indexing sites based on SEO:
a) page speed for mobile
b) AMP support
c) https support
d) original content
those are all becoming ‘ranking factors’ for sites.
Also note the hit counter is just a page load counter (page has been ‘hit’ once). For actual readership data you should be using stats provided with your hosting account or google analytics.
