Sometimes there are reasons to put the vimeo tag in the body of the story instead of the featured image.
When this is done the Vimeo tag shows up in the excerpt.
Is there a way to filter this out?

We had to do a lot of customization to connect to our subscription system.
I took a look at your site. It looks pretty good.
A Suggestion, Move your videos to Youtube or Vimeo. They will play better than hosting them yourself.
