I noticed a strong discrepancy between the visitor stat on the posts and the actual visits.
For example: this is a the most popular post this year: https://egzostive.com/the-ultimate-2023-car-show-and-events-list/
According to WP stats, it has 3527 views this year (plus a few in 2022 December).
If I open the link, the stat only mentions 681.
There are quite a few similar cases (I posted a question about it in May, and this element remained unfinished).
Also I noticed that pagination and the Tagdiv gallery also did not add to the stats, which would actually make sense.
A higher number would help to take the website more seriously, but the current numbers are actually well below even the “real” page hit stats (as reported by WP/Jetpack).
I would be grateful for your suggestions.

The view counter is based on ajax: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
Make sure there isn’t a plugin conflict with it.
We will also test this feature with the proposed WP and Jetpack solutions, and we will improve it if some glitches are found.

I enabled it in the theme settings, but still shows the very low number.
This is misleading, so even not showing any number would be better.
Is there a way to turn off this stat feature at the posts?
