Apologies if this is a stupid question but since upgrading Newspaper (or maybe it is coincidence) the visual composer will not load.
I am not sure what to do

There’s a new update to Visual Composer you can download by downloading the latest update to Newspaper. From there, you can follow the instructions in this link to update the plugin.
I have followed the above instructions and still cannot get Visual Composer to load. It is showing version 4.11.2
Newspaper 6.7.1
Any ideas?

Hi,
Maybe you activated an incompatible plugin? Please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check again. Let us know how it goes.

Please ignore this message because the Visual Composer is free and come bundled with our theme and you cannot activate it because we cannot provide you a license key for this.

Thank you for your suggestions, which was spot on. Before the update all of the plugins were working, and as we had not added any new plugins, we didn’t think about this option. But yes, we found one plugin that was causing issues, and have informed the developer.

@Dhananjay, the Visual Composer plugin will work as before. they simply added a message for activation that does not interfere with any options or features of the plugin. You can ignore the message and use it the plugin like before.
@aph100 glad you managed to solve it. Please keep in mind that not all plugins work with our theme. This is the case with all premium theme as the code is custom and not all plugins can recognize it.
