Top of the Morning! After the last update of Newspaper and Visual Composer I received this message in the administration panel “Important notice: You have an outdated version of Visual Composer Design Options. It is required to review and save it. ” After trying to get to the design options page twice, it states I do not have sufficient access. I contacted those at Visual Composer, after they were given temporary access. They mentioned that the theme developer would have disabled that page from within their panel. Can you confirm that’s true, and would it be possible for it to be brought back?

The design options were disabled in our theme as we do not use these features and they cannot be used with our theme. Please switch to a default theme and disable the design options from here: http://screencast.com/t/vZSf6tpH62p and then activate newspaper again and the problem should be solved.
The design options as well as the front-end editor do not work properly with our theme so they were disabled.
