Visual Composer editor doesn't appear

Hi there team TagDiv!

I run a website (http://vrtodaymag.com). I have tried to use Visual Composer this morning, but the layout of my site doesn’t appear in the backend, and I notice an error when I inspect my code. (backend.min.js:6 Uncaught TypeError: $template.get is not a function).

I want to start adding elements, but even though I see a list of elements when I click the “+” sign, nothing happens when I click.

I use a licensed Newspaper Version: 7.1.1

Kind regards,
Nick

I’m having the same problem.
At the bottom of my page I get:
Elements within this list are deprecated and are no longer supported in newer versions of Visual Composer.

Same version and newest version of Newspaper.

Hey Sigur. Let’s hope for some clarity soon 🙂

Hi, same problem here. VC composer does not appear on Editor mode. VC 4.11.2. Newspaper 7.1.1

There seems to be a problem with VC, hope we have an answer soon.

@all
Hello,

We have no reports of problems with visual composer if version 4.11.2 is installed. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If you use the mobile theme, check your page back-end again as there are 2 editors now, scroll down a bit to find visual composer as the mobile editor is at the top.
If you still have issues with this and if there is a problem we did not find yet, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login to inspect this issue. We need to see the error if we are to fix anything.

@sigurbjornsson
you seem to have used visual composer from a very early version and created your page with that version. Some elements from VC were removed/marked as deprecated by the plugin author in the latest versions so you will have to re-create these elements. They are tabs, accordions etc. you can see what element you need to re-create in this list: http://screencast.com/t/EESnECyBl5

Thank you!
