Visual Composer Error – "Activate your copy of Visual Composer"

Hello,

I am getting an error/notification asking for “Activate your copy of Visual Composer”, here is the screenshot http://prnt.sc/azu3o4

I just updated the Newsmag theme following this https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/

I also tried to update Visual Composer following this https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

I also tried deleting “Visual Composer” plugin and installing again from the “Newsmag >> Plugins” area, here is the screenshot http://prnt.sc/azu45s

Would be great if someone can help me fixing this issue.

Hi
see the theme docs. You do NOT need to activate the authorization for the plugin as you have a bundled version and you can’t authorize it with WP Bakery. That nag can be ignored. 🙂

I think they will hook in a function next time to turn that off for the bundled version. WP Bakery sneak that in every few versions. Suuuuupppppeeer annoying! 🙂

(( I don’t work here …. but I steal cups of their coffee when they go to lunch .. nyah hah ha! ))
