Visual Composer Latest Update Broke – Theme Lost Custom Newmag Elements

I am having the same issue as others – I updated Visual Composer, and all of the custom block sections are no longer there. The short code is present on the back-end editor, but the blocks do not render. I need these custom blocks as they are pervasive on the site.

Please advise on how to fix.

Roll back to prior version temporarily?

Also note Visual Composer (VC) and TD Composer (TDC) are two different things, if using TDC, not all the VC blocks are there and you’ll need to redo any layouts done with VC.

( I don’t work here; just some feedback. )

Im having the same problem, we cannot work with the backend modules to change the web. Is this going to be fixed?

I deleted the JS composer plugin from the web directory. then I downloaded all files and documentation for newspaper theme from envato and went through the process of installing the js composer plugin shown here https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/. when you activate the plug in don;t choose to update.

Notice that you should not update your plugin, you only use the bundled version, sorry!
