Hello,
A few days ago I tried making a change to a page, created using Visual Composer. The changed was adding a picture to a carousel. However, despite all my efforts, the new picture would simply refuse to appear – both on the actual website and in the admin panel.
Yesterday I updated Newspaper to the latest version which comes with VC 5.0.1. The problem persists. Today I tried to update another page by adding a block of pure HTML. Clicked save, the page reloaded and the block was not there.
Running: WordPress 4.7 (256 MB memory limit, PHP 7.0, PHP Post Max Size: 16MB, MySQL 5.5.52)
WP Super Cache – Caching disabled
CloudFlare – Development mode ON
Do you have any idea what might be causing this behaviour?

I have tested this feature on my side and the Image Carousel seems to work as properly with the latest version of the theme, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/nRXyWtXfxczP -> http://screencast.com/t/ek2gGyl2 I suspect your problem happens due to your low value of PHP memory. Please try to increase it from your System status according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I followed your instructions and did the following:
– increaded WP_Memory_limit to 256MB
– PHP memory_limit: 256M
– post_max_size: 50M
– max_execution_time: 180
– max_input_vars: 5000
Then I tried adding the Pure HTML block again, but after saving the page, it was not there anymore. Any other ideas, please?

Funny thing, I was preparing a test account for you and decided to see if you had access to everything you might need. Don’t know why, but I decided to edit one of the problematic pages under your account and, lo and behold, the changes were saved.
Does this sound like something you’ve encountered before? I can’t think of a reason why your account of work, whereas mine wouldn’t (I’m an administrator, no limitations whatsoever). Also, tried under both Chrome and Firefox. Additionally, I had the hosing company updated the server software to MariaDB 10.1.
