Make sure you have enough memory allocated to your WP install, via both the wp-config.php file and your php.ini file on hosting setup.

Visual Composer plugin is tested with the theme and works fine. Please make sure that you installed the plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all others plugins, just to make sure that there is no conflict with one of your installed plugins, clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide your site url so I can take a closer look at this issue.
