Hi,
I have the full licensed version of NewsMag and I just re-upped on paid support. I have the latest version of NewsMag and I’m also running the newest version of WordPress. Visual composer recently stopped working on my website and now hangs every time I try to load my homepage on my wordpress admin dashboard.
If I create a new page and I have to use visual composer, it won’t let me manually add text or items. But the catch is Visual Composer hangs and won’t let me add anything either. If I click “add element”, it will open the window showing all the elements, but if I click on any of the elements nothing will happen. It also won’t let me get to the visual/text tabs like on the “posts”, so I can’t create a new page without using Visual Composer. Which again, hangs and doesn’t let me add anything. This is a new development I’ve only noticed recently (I don’t often update my homepage).
Sorry in advance but I did not buy a separate license for visual composer, I’m using the version that came with NewsMag, so I don’t qualify for support there. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Update: Problem solved by deleting and reinstalling.

I had the same problem, deleted, reinstalled and now its fine.
Go figure.
I’ve tried deleting Visual Composer and re-installing but I’m still not seeing the composer within the post/page editor.
Any ideas what to try? I have deactivated all plugins but still no joy.

Please make sure that you’re using V 3.1 of Newsmag which is available on themeforest and also check if Visual Composer is updated at V 4.12, this version is included in theme’s path: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
