Is it possible to have Visual Composer on Category pages?
(I only see visual composer on Posts and Pages)

Unfortunately the category pages cannot be customized in visual composer. Only posts/pages
Alternatively users have created pages to replace categories and then created 301 redirects between category pages and single pages.

Instead of creating a new thread I am just jumping into the existing one. After reading your above post, I came across a very interesting situation as I was also looking to find a way to customise category pages with customising the theme.
Scenario:
1. I am using category URLs with /category/ in the URL. World News URL is pakistantribune.com.pk/world-news
2. I created a page and gave it slug “world-news” and both URLs became same. Now, when I try to view the page, it gets redirected to the category page and understandably so.
Now my question is can we force opposite of above i.e category page redirecting to the page. May be through .htaccess or some other method. I can’t change my category URL as so many aggregators fetch content from our side using the category feeds.
