I wanted to integrate a visual composer post-grid into our site. Basically it worked well but I know wanted to add the post category onto every grid-element. Visual Composer documentation says, that it should be possibly with the content element “post category”, but I just cannot find that content element in the included version of vc.

If you want to implement ‘post category’ you have to create your own custom grid and then you have to set it your desired fields which you want to display on your page. In order to achieve best results, please try to read all the documentation and try to implement this on our theme as you wish. Please notice that this thing requires some additional customizations that involve custom work. If you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

thank you for your reply! I´ve done this exactly, but the content-element “Post-Categories” on your Screenshot http://screencast.com/t/xppqRGauBep is not available on my system.
Do you have an idea, why this could be?

Please ensure that you have correctly installed the Visual Composer for your side. Try to update the plugin to the latest version 4.11 and check it again. I have tested on my side and this option is valid.
