I know you aren’t the creator of the visual composer, but in there support area it says I can’t post a support request because I got the plugin with my theme.
Maybe you can help me.
I’ve created a grid in the grid builder and I can’t figure out how I can implement the author of the post. There is no such field http://screencast.com/t/d2JLKIMcL and I didn’t manage to implement the author through “Custom Field”.

Unfortunately, this is a Visual Composer Element and do not have such an option for this. If you want to develop this element, you have to alter the code from the plugin core file and add some functions wich calling the author information to be displayed into your Custom Grid. Please notice that is not a simple task and is require custom work. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for your because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
