Visual Composer Update does not work since folder already exist

But if you want to do update that way how you describe, you can’t. If you do it that way you will get error that /htdocs/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/ folder already exist.

Hi,

To update Visual composer please deactivate and delete the plugin from then plugins section

Then upload the new version and it should install properly.

Is the same thing with all other newspaper plugins? You need to delete them manually one by one and then upload and install them again one by one?

Hello Edragon,

You should install only the plugins which come bundled with the latest theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results.
