I have a couple pages that have medium size blocks of RAW HTML. One in particular at http://illinoismatmen.com/wordpress/ihsa-high-school-tournament-results/ uses the accordion with 12 blocks of RAW HTML. It takes Visual Composer a LONG time to load this from the admin panel and working within Visual Composer on this page can be VERY slow and will sometimes crash the browser. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to improve performance? The front end page loads very quickly.

This kind of problem could come from your system status parameters and you have to increase these values in order to achieve the best result. If you do not have access to your system status file, please contact your hosting provider and then try to increase these parameters.

I’m still experiencing EXTREME slowness in loading pages on the backend to edit them to the point that the browser goes unresponsive. Again, it is not all pages. It appears to be the pages with large blocks of HTML. All of the parameters in system status are set correctly and I even increased the WP Memory Limit parameter to 128 MB/request.
This does not affect the front end of the site which is very fast. This specifically has to do with the backend when loading pages to edit them and throughout the process of editing them in Visual Composer.
My site is running on a fast dedicated server so I know it’s not an issue with the power/performance of the server.

This kind of delay it might be caused by the interference between your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Check your backend after this advice and see if your problem is still there. Also, try to enable one by one and trying to identify what kind of plugin generate this problem.
