You could update the theme to the latest version (8.7.2), this contains the fix for the issue. Also many more improvements have been made over the 8.7.1 version you are using. See the theme update changelog here

That solution worked for all users since it has been provided. Either make the modifications in the mentioned file or update the theme to 8.7.2. The latest theme version contains many improvements over the previous version including a fix or the issue. Check the theme changelog

If you have made the modification in the file, clear all caching installed and CDN if used.
