I am trying to use a plugin called Easy Table of Contents. Easy Table of Contents uses v.4.0.0 of Waypoints jquery. Currently the Visual Composer supplied with Newspaper uses Waypoints v.2.0.2 which was released on Feb 3, 2013. Is it possible to get this updated in a future release of Newspaper?

Unfortunately, this type of plugin has not been tested with the theme and we have no idea if it will work or not with our product, sorry! Notice that we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

Please keep in mind that we focus our attention on our page builder which is TD Composer and this plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder. Notice that further, you can use the Visual Composer but there will be no major improvements, sorry!

That’s what I thought. Do you guys have any plans of adding CSS animations (such as bounceinup), accordions, and tabbed content to the elements selection in TD Composer? One of my websites has a lot of pages that use accordions and tabbed content elements.

For the moment accordions and tabs are not among our plans for future elements of the tagdiv page builder. We do not plan to mimic or copy visual composer. We will develop our own unique elements.

Totally understand you not wanting to make a copy of visual composer and be your own plugin, however it puts me in a difficult position to transition to TD Composer if I don’t have the ability to create accordions and tabs in the same manner.
Do you know of any compatible plugins that can give me those elements in combination with TD Composer?
Note you can add any type of CSS to your website pretty easily…

@Chris – Thanks and I agree it’s pretty easy to use if you know HTML, but I have a lot of authors on these websites whose minds would explode if I showed them this code they had to use every time they wanted to create an accordion. They have gotten pretty used to using the easy drag and drop tools of Visual Composer. Just click the button for the element and add in the content. The reason we went with Newspaper in the first place (over 3 years ago) was it had all these great drag and drop tools, was easy to use, and looked fantastic and professional. It was an easy sell to my school district to go with Newspaper.
Now it looks like I need to do research again on plugins and themes… hopefully just a plugin this time that will give me the functionality of adding accordions and tabs easily without the use of HTML and shortcodes PLUS+ work with TD Composer. I’ll share if I find something.

If tabs and accordions are a must for your project, you can simply stop using the tagdiv composer and use visual composer just as before. There is this option as well. Tagdiv composer is not mandatory.
