Web not responding to language change

Hello,
my site is not responding to language changes in Theme panel -> Translations. I can do anything there and it just doesn’t show up on website! Why?

I have latest version of WP, latest version of Newspaper. Fresh install. NO other plugins than tagdiv installed.

PLEASE HELP, thank you.

Edit: Just for sure, Im saving settings.

Some elements can be edited with tagDiv Composer, to translate them -> https://i.imgur.com/mOQUUXU.png
Please let me know what you want to change.
