WebP support in cloud template

Hi,

I cannot see webp image in template

wordpress 6.2.6
Newspaper 12.3.1
Templates developed with Cloud Templates, featured image is included with Single Post Featured Image
Caching WP Rocket
Image optimization Imagify

Is any incompatibility?

Hi,

You are using old theme version and old WordPress version so yes, there can be incompatibility.
I recommend to make a full backup for your website and database and update the WordPress and the theme. This should resolved the problems.

Hi,

I updated wordpress and theme and now I can see webp in the source. I have Cloudflare in front for caching and waf purpouse. Lighthouse still does not see webp picture and give a low LCP rate. Why this?

Hi Gianpiero,
Can you please provide a link to your website to take a look? Maybe the problem is only on latest images that have not yet been converted.

Thank you for sharing the link. I checked the link and the mobile and desktop versions are using the webp version for images https://i.imgur.com/GDhoE04.png – https://i.imgur.com/46LC7DJ.png
