We purchased your template in 2015. The version we had on our website was 1.4 when the site got hacked.

We went ahead and updated our site to version 4.0 of Newsmag.
Is the 4.0 release still vulnerable to this attack?
The article that Sucuri referenced is for a different theme and I don’t see any reference in the themeforest comments about this vulnerability.
We ran 1.7 for years then move to 3x without any issues. No hacks and it’s secure.

That scanner seems to indicate we are now patched. We also installed the Sucuri plugin to provide an audit log for files modified in case someone does exploit the site again in the future.
