I seem to have bumped up against a weird problem when it come to the Main Menu in the theme. It shows up perfectly on the main page but not on any of the sub pages/posts – http://mithrilpalace.com.
Any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it?
Any and all suggestions will be tried.

Okay let me clarify this a little better after doing some checking. The only time that the menu goes missing is on the Category listing pages and after taking a look at the page source I can see that the menu code isn’t even there.
<div id="td-top-menu" role="navigation" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://schema.org/SiteNavigationElement">
</div>
On every other “special” page the menu works find – I have check Search, Archive etc and the menu display just fine.
hi,
if the menu works fine why do you have : http://screencast.com/t/WkG9OLCk ?
please provide the url to the page without the menu, so we can take a look.
Thanks for you message.

Hey Radu,
I’ve noticed the behavior with the menus (your screen cap)but figured that they were a part of the menu’s function – I wasn’t overly concern until you pointed it out as something that shouldn’t be there 🙂 – any suggestions on what might be causing this and or things I can do to fix it?
As for the missing menu the only place this is happening is when you are viewing the category pages: http://mithrilpalace.com/category/minerials/
I appreciate the assistance getting this all worked out Radu.
BTW I just noticed that on the Category pages that the Top Menu is also missing.
Good news Radu 🙂 I figured out the problem with the missing menu on the category pages and yes it turned out to be a misbehaving plugin that I really didn’t even need any more.
However that doesn’t change the problem you pointed out in your screen cap http://screencast.com/t/WkG9OLCk. I am trying to figure it out myself but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Radu – I think you can close this one out. I figured out what I was doing wrong that caused those additional menu item dupes – chalk it up user silliness and over thinking a process 🙂
Thanks for a great theme.
Hi there,
I just noticed a different bug in the Menu.
When I choose one of the Menu items (pages) – the Green color indication line underneath which shows where you are appears underneath 3 different Menu items – and not just under the 1 menu item that it should.
You can see this at this screenshot:

Any suggestion for a fix?
Thanks!
Hi,
That is because that page can be accessed using/represented by all those 3 menu items: http://screencast.com/t/77P3a6EIoT
On other words all three menu items link to that page.
Thanks
