Weird Search Results

Hello!

The search also shows the categories and their “featured image”. Is there a way I can prevent that the categories do not appear? Or how should I add the featured image for the category?

Hi,

Do you refer to the category tag and the featured image of the post? You can change the module for search template if you don’t want to display featured image, just set a module without thumb – http://screencast.com/t/oSngeBLrWP and you have an option to disable category tag for each module/block – http://screencast.com/t/kykLECTS

There are some option in Theme Panel > Categories to set the category page(globally or individual) – http://screencast.com/t/cHFXgMQDH
If this is not what you mean please provide more details and your site url so I can check it.

Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean, when you search no category should be displayed, it works only for posts and pages.
Please provide a link so I can inspect this.
