It’s been more then a year now since I first posted my question about the 7 day popular post sorting that doesn’t work with caching. You guys said it would be adressed in future updates, but after more than a year it still hasn’t been fixed. You guys make an awsome theme and I love you guys for updating is regularly, but the fact 7 day popular still doesn’t work with caching really bugs me. When will the tagDiv team adress this issue?
This is an issue I need fixed as well.

Hi,
We have approached this subject many times since last year, yet we haven’t managed to find the right implementation for this to also work with cache and without damaging or crashing servers on sites with high traffic. We had reports regarding this implementation so this is not an option.
At the moment we are considering using Jetpack’s plugin statistics which are held on their servers however this is still under discussion we don’t have yet any certainty that it can be done and we still have to document in this regard.
When we will have a certain answer on this we will update this tread and if we can’t make it work properly we will announce this and consider removing this sorting option.
