I share my posts to my facebook page. Then I see people have clicked the “facebook like” button on my post. What exactly is that doing? That like isn’t showing up on facebook. Is it supposed to?
In the theme panel, for post settings, this is called “bottom article like/tweet”
How does this work, and what do I have to setup to make it work?

Hi,
That button is created according to the official Facebook documentation
– https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button
It will count likes received on the post page, and it should also take into account likes received when sharing the post on Facebook. That would be the purpose of this button.
