Hi,
Whenever I view a post that I have made on my site, on the right side under the advertisement is a heading that says “Block Title”. How do I edit this or remove it completely? I put all my posts under different categories on the site.
Thanks!
Hello,
The block title is exactly as it suggests. it;s a block title. That is the default block title that the theme sets to your block. This can be removed but if you use the ajax filter, there MUST be a block title, otherwise the default one will show. Please access your sidebar and change the name of the block to the name you prefer.

Thank you!
I am sorry to seem ignorant but how do i access the Sidebar to edit what it says and/or remove it?
Hi,
It can be done from the widgets area of wordpress: http://screencast.com/t/zm9oZGtPPQB
Here is an example of a block in a sidebar and the settings for it: http://screencast.com/t/pEE0SmW3
The settings found in the widgets area are the same as the ones in block settings in visual composer. Please read this guide to see how you can customize blocks in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your help! Greatly appreciated.
Hi Bogdan. Sorry to be a pain, but I cannot change the Block still. I only have one page that I modify which is my home page – whenever I click on a post that is assigned under a category it opens in a page and has the block title on the right hand side underneath an advertisement.
How do I sort this out?

It is on the right hand side under the advertisement.
Hi,
It seems your element is an empty social counter element. Please edit the sidebar you use on your posts from the sidebars area and remove the social counter element from the sidebar. look for the social counter element in these dropdowns on your end: http://screencast.com/t/XNWyVC6x98D8
If you still have trouble with this, please contact us via email and provide wp-admin so we can login and check for errors. if you email us please provide a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry to be a pain, but whenever I click “TD_DEMO_CATEGORY” in the widgets section to drop down, nothing is displayed. I also have no Sidebars anywhere in my widgets page – why is this?
Hello,
You might have removed the sidebars or wordpress could have stripped the sidebars of content. This is known to happen if a theme install goes wrong or if you create custom sidebars and use special characters for their names. If you create custom sidebars please do not use any symbols or language specific characters as wordpress has a problem with this and will crash by stripping the sidebar of content. The sidebar name cannot be seen on the front-end so please only use standard characters for it.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan. I haven’t created any custom sidebars to my knowledge. Is there a way I can get any further help with this?
Hi,
Well if your sidebar is empty, you need to add content to it. I cannot say for sure why there is no content inside it. I pointed out above one reason we are aware of. If you did not remove the content yourself, then we do not know of any other problem that results in the sidebars getting stripped of content. Maybe a plugin conflict but there is no way to tell. Please try to add content to the sidebar and see if it gets displayed or not. IF you have trouble with the sidebars and cannot get them to work please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate.
Thank you!
