As I understand the TagDiv Themes offer the following two options to get more space for the body container (not including footer & header). I know there could be a few more options to achieve the same but my query is only around the following two. So if all your modules or page elements do not fit properly you can do one of the following :
1) Reduce the Padding and Margins on your Columns (left & right side)
2) Stretch the Row instead and leave the column margins/padding to be automatic (add padding/margin to row instead if required)
My question is that out of above two, which is the best option to choose which makes your page stable (do not distort or miss-align ) even after theme upgrades and also when viewing on different screen sizes?

We recommend using the ROW settings, stretch row feature is the best to go with.
